  • Pedestrian Believed Struck By Train, But No Body Located
  • An engineer with Norfolk Southern railroad reported he thought he hit a pedestrian on the train tracks at Hamill Road Friday night. But after three hours of searching with K-9s and Thermal Imaging devices, no body could be found.

Only a hat was found in the search area.

The train was brought to the Debutts yard for inspection while the Hamilton County STARS rescue team was called out to assist Chattanooga Police and searched all day Saturday.

However, after a lengthy search, no other signs of a victim were found.
