Hunter hosts talk and wine tasting for Morris show
morrisglass2smIf you haven’t had a chance to get to the Hunter’s current exhibit of glass sculptor William Morris’s genre-busting work, check out “Fragile,” the August 14 event hosted by Avant-Art and sponsored by Miller and Martin, PLLC.

Described as “a group of young-minded Hunter Museum members who make the arts accessible through a lively mix of social events that combine art and entertainment,” Avant-Art will provide a wine-tasting, including four wines chosen by Brian Leutweiler of Riverside Wines, followed by informal talks by local glass artist Tommy Spake and Hunter preparator John Thornberry.
