Audrey Assad in Concert with Local Opener As Isaac
Audrey Assad is celebrating the release of her new album “Fortunate Fall” and just added a solo concert in Chattanooga for Friday, September 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.. “Fortunate Fall” is an overwhelmingly supported independent project of songs for the church to worship and pray together. The local band As Isaac will open with an intimate worship set. As Isaac released their first full length album “Headed for My Home” this summer. The community concert will be at Calvary Chapel Chattanooga at 3415 South Broad Street. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.. All ages are welcome. Tickets are $10, or $25 maximum for a family and can be purchased at the door or in advance by emailing asisaactheband@gmail.com.
Audrey Assad is an independent singer, musician, and songwriter whose musical influences range from Paul Simon and the Carpenters to Feist and Jack White. More often than not she has her nose in a book—usually something by Tolstoy, C.S. Lewis, Pope John Paul II, or Madeline L'Engle.
As Isaac is an independent band of young singer songwriters. Their heart’s desire is to engage people with the story of life and truth. Their songs range from storytelling, to songs for corporate worship and reflect their influences from diverse styles. The core band members are Zachary Tate Smith, Rachel Austin Kelly, and Kristian Croxall.
