65musicfeatureLadies, fluff out your old prom dress and gentlemen, roll up those sleeves and straighten your skinny tie. Knoxville’s quirky band Christabel and the Jons are snapping their way onto Chattanooga’s music scene once more at JJ’s Bohemia this Friday, celebrating the release of their new CD, Custom Made For You.

Known for their vintage formal wear adorned with tulle and pork pie hats, the band consists of lead singer and guitarist Christa DeCicco, whose vocals blend blues and folk, and her band The Jons: Jon Whitlock on drums, percussion and backup vocals, Seth Hopper on violin, trumpet, mandolin, and bandoneon, and Mischa Goldman on upright bass.
