    John Hiatt
    Same Old Man

    (New West Music)

johnhiatt_sameoldmanMK gave me this CD for my birthday last month. I entered a new decade, and the title of the disk made me a little self-conscious. However, she assured me the title and my newly acquired age had nothing to do with her decision. She remembered when I took her mother to the singer/songwriter’s concert at the Tivoli. To be honest, we went there for Lyle Lovett. We left there a huge John Hiatt fan. My neighbor at the cube farm at work had been praising this man’s works for years. I finally listened to him and bought the tickets. I’m glad I did.
