21-Year-Old Dies In Fiery Crash In Catoosa

    Written by Louis Lee
    November 16, 2009 – 5:00 am

Excessive speed has claimed another life on local highways.  21-year-old Joshua Dobbins died Sunday when his vehicle crashed Sunday morning in Catoosa County.

Police say he was travelling too fast when he lost control in a curve and hit an embankment.

The vehicle flipped, hit a power pole and burst into flames before landing in a ditch.

Traffic was halted on Highway 41 for hours while the scene was cleared and investigated.
