carta busUp to 1/5th of workers at the new VW plant could ride CARTA buses to work. That from CARTA’s executive director Tom Dugan, who said their buses will run right to the door of the new facility.

Dugan noted that the parking lot for the new facility is huge and said that workers that are the last to arrive could spend half an hour just walking to the door from their vehicle.

Meanwhile, CARTA has received 5 new buses and are making plans to redo some routes to accommodate the new vehicles, because they are so large.
