GBI Warns of Child Porn Virus Email Scam

    Written by Jeremy Lawrence
    July 2, 2009 – 10:25 am

A warning from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.  They say an email is making the rounds that contains a virus embedded in a video of child porn. The video is around 6 minutes long and shows a man having sex with a very young girl.

The G-B-I says you shouldn’t open an email that reads “Very  disturbing…Take care of your kids.”

They also said that since a virus is involved, it could come from someone you know that is unaware they are sending it.

The FBI is also investigating the video.

    1. grundygreen says:

Point 1. My e-mails default to text mode.
Point 2. I don't use windows so the virus is not an issue. (Friends don't let friends use Windows)

It is amazing how many of the reported computer security issues out there are really WINDOWS Security issues. When will people wise up?

      Ubuntu
