    Bradley County Church Nearly Destroyed In Fire

    fire-graphic-2An early morning fire  on Thursday all but destroyed a Bradley County church.  Firefighters were called out to the Thompson Springs Baptist Church on Bates Pike around 3:15 Thursday morning after reports of heavy smoke in the area.

    The church was heavily damaged in the blaze, though no injuries have been reported.

    An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway by fire officials.
