Shooting Suspect Ballou Captured In Kentucky

ballousteven Steven James Ballou, wanted for a shooting that occurred at 2500 Burton Street in Chattanooga, was arrested Wednesday in Owensboro, Kentucky after a hit and run traffic crash and a short vehicle pursuit with law enforcement.

The shooting incident occurred on June 14, 2009 at 2500 Burton Street.

After an investigation, warrants for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Burglary and Attempted Murder were taken out on Ballou.

He was placed on the TBI and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted lists.

Pending extradition, Ballou will return to Chattanooga to face these charges.
