Chattam Announces Expansion Of Facilites

Some more good local financial news today. The Chattem company is expanding operations… Chairman and CEO Zan Guerry said the move is a return to the company’s emphasis on local manufacturing.

Construction is under way on the first phase, an 85,000-square-foot facility that will house the ACT manufacturing line.

According to Chief Financial Officer Robert Long, the project will end up costing around 35 million dollars.
