    City Softball Parks Could Recoup Investment Soon

    The City’s attractiveness to tournaments is expected to pay off financially… The $14 million investment in two softball parks seems like it will eventually help Chattanooga financially. 

    According to Scott Smith, president of the Greater Chattanooga Sports and Events Committee, the city could recoup its investment in softball facilities within five years. 

    City officials have said Organizers already have secured national, regional and college tournaments.
