    Candidates Raking In The Donations

    congressionaldistrictThe war chests are filling for those intent on replacing long-time 3rd District Congressman Zach Wamp.  Chuck Fleischmann leads the pack with $335, 000 raised so far.

    This is according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission.

    The Republican candidate also pointed out that this money came from 220 individual donors.

    Coming in at second place is Robin Smith of Hixson.  The former head of the Tennessee GOP has received $149,000 from 139 donors.

    Democrat Paula Flowers has raised $125,000  and Tommy Caigle of Signal Mountain has $33, 000 in his campaign account.
