    Early Morning Shooting Leaves Police Puzzled

    police-shootingAnother early morning shooting leaves more questions than answers for police in solving the crime. Chattanooga Police responded to 1788 Ocoee Street just after 3:00am Friday morning and found Joseph Gray lying in the floor of his home suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and back.

    Sergeant Jerri Weary stated that When asked what happened, Gray refused to comment but instead requested medical attention. Despite several people being in the home, no one could give an account of what happened or how Gray was shot.

    Gray was transported to Erlanger Hospital where he received the medical attention he requested however, his current condition is unknown. Police have no leads at this time in this case.
