East Ridge House Nearly Destroyed In Fire

East Ridge firefighters were called to a house fire on East Ridge Drive early Wednesday morning. The alarm came in at about 2 in the morning. The house was unoccupied, and firefighters put out the flames before the entire structure was destroyed.

Fire/Arson investigators are continuing to work this morning to determine the cause and origin of the fire.

Damage is estimated at $85,000.
