    November 5, 2009 – 11:14 am

medicalA Chattanooga man is fighting for his life in a hospital after being electrocuted yesterday.  East Ridge Firefighters responded to a call that the man had been injured while working on the Fiber Optic cabling for the Electric Power Board.

The man was identified as Jesse Steele, a sub-contractor doing work at the Lomenaque Apartments on Ringgold Road.

Rescuers found Steele lifeless after being shocked … they quickly cleared his airway and performed CPR.

He was listed in critical condition at Erlanger Medical Center as of last check.
