    March 9, 2010 – 10:03 am

A Chattanooga man has been sentenced for his part in the death of a 17-year-old girl.  41-year-old Trevor Guthrie will serve 11 months, 29 days for serving alcohol to minors during a party at his home in February of 2008.

Among those minors was Meredith Birmingham.

After leaving the party, she crashed into a power pole on East Brainerd Road.

Her blood alcohol level was point-1-8.

Birmingham’s passenger, 18- year-old Jonathan Crow, was airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center … he survived.
