    Written by Jeremy Lawrence
    June 30, 2009 – 12:25 pm

A robbery where a 79-year-old woman was hit in the head. Thaddeus Kelcey Jamal Watson was arrested after the holdup of the Big K Market Sunday.  A store employee said that she saw Watson and another black male hanging around before the robbery and saw them leaving the store after it happened.

The woman that was hit was in a back room counting money when the two allegedly burst in, hitting her with a gun on the side of the head twice.

Watson admitted to being in the store, but denied being a part of the robbery.

Police say that he was captured on surveillance video carrying out the robbery.
