    Man Assaulted, Shot At Convenience Store

    police-newsLast night around 10:20 pm Chattanooga Police responded to 6524 Bonny Oaks Drive on a shots fired call at the Mr. Zip. Officers found Alan Caldwell age 20 of Chattanooga shot one time in the leg.

    Caldwell told officers that 3 black males jumped on him and that one of the 3 shot him with an unknown handgun. He stated that the suspects left in a green Lincoln Navigator with Tennessee license.

    The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Chattanooga Police Homicide Detectives are actively investigating the shooting. Caldwell’s condition is unknown but his injuries are not life threatening.
