Police Arrest Fugitive Wanted In June Shooting

Chattanooga Police Fugitive investigators located and arrested Gary Lee Brown who was wanted for a June 2009 shooting. This morning around 9 am, investigators received information that Brown was at 2611 Oak Stree.
Several officers, including those with the United States Marshall Service, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the CPD, all converged on the Rosemont Apartments for his apprehension. Brown was considered armed and dangerous due to his criminal history and probation for a 2008 shooting.
Brown was located inside apartment # 1 with Terrance Walker who also had outstanding warrants for two failure to appear charges. Both were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Hamilton County Jail. No photo is yet available on Walker.
