Sheriff’s Office Looking For Confidence Man

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Kevin Scott Thibault on charges of Theft over $60,000, Theft over $1,000, Theft over $500 and Theft under $500.

His method of operation is to take unwitting persons into his confidence, then with this gained trust swindle them of cash and credit card information.

He also places ads on Craig’s List to fraudulently rent property. At this time he is suspected of defrauding victims of over $200.000 in Hamilton County alone.

The 44 year old Thibault is 6′ tall, weight 220 lbs has brown hair and green eyes.

Thibault is also wanted by the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office in Charlotte, NC on similar charges.
