Son Arrested After Restraining His Mother

    Written by Louis Lee
    July 20, 2009 – 7:05 pm

Sunday morning Bradley County deputies answered a 911 call that a woman had been bound, gagged and held against her will.  Investigation revealed David Nathaniel Goldston tied his mother to a bed with electrical tape and a phone cord and kept her there for approximately an hour.

He then released her and she was able to leave the residence and call the sheriff’s office after he fell asleep.

The SWAT team was activated after it was reported Goldston threatened to kill anyone who came to arrest him and he would harm others in the residence.

He was taken into custody without incident and was brought to the Bradley County jail.

He’s charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and two counts of aggravated domestic assault.

Goldston, 33, is being held without bond pending a hearing in General Sessions Court.
