A man charged in the 2003 Bessie Smith Strut shooting is now facing aggravated robbery charges. Timothy Beasley was charged in an incident in East Chattanooga in which a man claimed he was robbed and shot at by two men.
Anthony Stamper said Beasley, who is now 27, was one of the gunmen.
Stamper said he was sitting on his porch when one man walked by and another a short time later got out of a PT Cruiser that pulled up.
He said the men ordered him to give up his money and get on the ground, then fired numerous shots all around him.
Stamper claims they took between $500 and $600.
