A Whitfield County man has been charged in the death of his one-month-old son. When officers arrived on the scene off Country Lane Sunday, they found the child’s mother trying to revive him.

There was trauma to the head and bruises all over the body.

Nathaniel Hester was taken into custody and is now facing charges in the death.
