Chattanooga City Council Bans Guns In Parks
Written by Jeremy LawrenceJuly 15, 2009 – 1:29 pm
Chattanooga has spoken. The city council has anyway, moving to bar guns in city parks. The unanimous vote would exempt the city from a new state law that allows them for permit holders in city and state parks.
Some citizens showed up at last nights meeting in support of allowing guns in parks.
The city has signs posted at numerous parks that say firearms are not allowed.

i hope that all 9 of those council members get robbed at gunpoint in one of these precious so called safe parks. these places are far from safe. but, it usually takes someone being faced with a life/death situation before they take the steps to ensure they will never be a victim again.
