    District Attorney Says Deep Blue A “Public Nuisance”

    bill coxHamilton County District Attorney Bill Cox considers the Club Deep Blue in Brainerd to be a public nuisance. He says so in a 70-page petition of abatement filed in court. The club is closed pending an August 3rd hearing before Judge Rebecca Stern.

    The petition includes affadavits from a number of people, detailing problems at the club.

    Cox says the owner, Bernard Braswell, knows of the problems but won’t do anything to stop them.

    The DA wants to the club to permanently shuttered.
