“Guns In Bars” Law Clears First Court Challenge

It will go forward. That from a judge that has refused to stop the new law in Tennessee that allows handguns to be carried into bars and restaurants in the state. A lawsuit had been filed in Davidson County that sought an injunction.
The judge refused to stop the law, but did say that the case needed to be explored further.
The law does keep a ban on alcohol if you are packing heat when you enter a bar or restaurant, and you must have a carry permit in order to do it to begin with.
