    No Injuries In Four Alarm Dodson Avenue Fire

    fire-graphic-2No injuries were reported in connection with a house fire Thursday night.  The Chattanooga Fire Department received the alarm at 11:00 p.m. and responded to 4000 Dodson Avenue with four fire companies.  Captain Carlos Hampton with Engine 4 said smoke and flames were visible when the first firefighters arrived on the scene. 

    Captain Hampton said the firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly, but the damage was substantial.  The three adults who lived in the house all got out of the house safely.

    Lt. Anthony Moore with the Fire Investigation Division said the cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation.  The dollar loss was estimated at around $40,000.
