The first death from swine flu in Tennessee has been recorded. The victim was an adult who died earlier in the month, but officials wouldn’t release the name of the person or their hometown. So far, the H1N1 flu virus has struck 246 Tennesseans.
Officials say that the strain will likely get worse as the school year will soon be upon us.
Around 700 residents of the state die every year from various strains of the flu.
