    November 30, 2009 – 6:44 am

arrestChattanooga Police Property Crimes Investigators have arrested two subjects in connection with the robbery of the Walgreens Pharmacy at 3506 Brainerd Rd.  Around 3:30 Sunday afternoon Chattanooga Police received a call from the Walgreens stating they had been robbed.

According to the officers the suspect Arthur Morrow, age 24,  walked into the Walgreens and gave the pharmacist a note demanding Oxycontin.  The pharmacist complied, and Morrow then walked out the store and started toward a vehicle.

Morrow saw he was being watched by a witness and ran into a wooded area near the store.  Police searched the area and found Morrow hiding with pills in hand, at which time he was taken into custody.

While police were processing the scene a woman was observed acting suspiciously on the lot.  She was detained and identified as Brandy Morrow, age 28, and it was determined she had brought Arthur Morrow to the store for the robbery.

Arthur Morrow and Brandy Morrow have been charged with Robbery Theft over $1000 and Criminal Conspiracy to Felonious Obtain Narcotics.
