As summer lays its warm grip upon Chattanooga, it’s a time for short things: short pants, short skirts, short sleeves. It’s also a time for slowing down a bit, both because of the omnipresent heat of the afternoon, but also to enjoy the long luxurious evenings.
It’s a time for picnics and parties, vacations and celebrations, and the glorious days of no school for the younger generation. Even for adults, nearly everything relaxes a bit during the summer, which is entirely the way it should be.
Enjoy the summer and get outside. There will be plenty of time to spend indoors come autumn and winter.
