    Dale DeasonWeekdays 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Chattanooga’s newest news/talk radio outlet today announced the addition of veteran Chattanooga personality Dale Deason to its airstaff. Deason will anchor the station’s fast moving morning news block weekdays from 5 a.m. till 9 a.m.

No stranger to the Chattanooga morning radio audience, Deason is probably best known for his work with Garry Mac as “Those Guys In The Morning,” which aired on WGOW-AM from 1982 through 1986. Over the course of the past two decades, Deason has also hosted morning shows on LITE MIX 105, GT108, and was the original anchor of TalkFM’s ‘Morning Press’.

A native of Centerville, Georgia, Deason majored in communications at West Georgia University, and worked briefly at Z-93 in Atlanta before coming to Chattanooga. His advertising agency, Deasonworks Advertising, LLC, provides clients across the southeast with radio, television, and outdoor services.

Dale, wife Carol, and a menagerie of dogs and cats reside on a small farm in rural McDonald, Tennessee.

      Hey ya’ll,
Chattanooga, The Pulse just got one of the best in the business, you not only got Dale…you got an added bonus of Carol too. I grew up with Dale & Carol and know them to be animal lovers and wonderful people. May your station prosper with your new additions.
      Love ya’ll,
      Pam Swartz Wingate

      Dale-
You just can’t stay out of the lime light! I for one am glad you’re back. Where do you find the time?
Look forward to tuning you in, for a fresh view in the mornings.
      Libby

I love the work you guys are doing. I have to admit that I hate the music bumps in the morning though. I bet it works for this audience, though… I like the banter you and the girls have and you keep the segments tight, it works. Keep up the good work!

I love your station and I listen all the time. You and the girls do a great job BUT I really hate the music bumps you use in the am…the afternoon music is light years better but I'm sure your general audience doesn't mind….just my 2 cents..jb
