Denise GallowayDenise was born in Minneapolis, MN but, spent just about every summer of her life in Chattanooga. Since she was a little girl, Denise has always wanted to be on the radio. Her first experience in front of a microphone was a small cassette recorder she got as a Christmas present. Not content to simply “sing” into the microphone, Denise would go around the house conducting interviews and play them back.

Remembering how much she loved the Chattanooga area, she moved here right after High School graduation to attend the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in the late 1980s and never left.

After earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Chattanooga State, Denise has spent the last sixteen years in the radio field. She’s been a radio personality on a wide range of formats from Alternative Rock to Easy Listening.  She has also served as Music director for three Adult Contemporary stations, Program Director, Operations Manager and even Chief Engineer during her tenure in Music radio.  Outside of music radio Denise has experience as a traffic reporter, news writer and news anchor and is Louis Lee’s co- anchor delivering news weekdays from 5:30am-9 and during the noon news hour.
