    Logan Carmichael – Afternoon Producer

    Written by Pulse Staff
    March 3, 2010 – 11:53 am

Logan CarmichaelLogan Carmichael is a native from the thriving metropolis of Whitwell, TN who began his radio career at 11 years old, when he started broadcasting from a studio he put together in an extra bedroom at his house. His whopping 1-watt signal reached out across the most of the Whitwell area and into parts of neighboring towns.

He began his full-time professional radio career at WEPG-AM in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, where he hosted various shows including everybody’s favorite…Swap & Shop! For a brief time he even did news and weather on WEPG-TV!

Logan’s worked in just about all the musical genres from Classic Rock to Alternative, Country to Southern Gospel radio, and he’s served in every capacity including Program Director, Operations Manager, and even the station Engineer before moving. Logan has been with Brewer Broadcasting since 2006.

Logan now lives in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga with his dog Gypsy and cats Noah and Coco. He’s also constantly in the process of rebuilding and improving his 120 year old house. His hobbies include most anything in the music world…from concert-going to concert promoting. Logan is a licensed Amateur (Ham) Radio operator with the call-sign W4QXL and is an active SkyWarn storm spotter, and is active in the local Red Cross.

Also in his free time, Logan enjoys classic cars, model railroading and trains, and most anything involving Southern History and the History of our Nation’s heritage. Oh yeah, and to break the geekdom and boredom…the ever-so-popular game of Guitar Hero or Rock Band! You should also know that his blood BLEEDS ‘BIG ORANGE’ for Tennessee Volunteer football!
