More Hearings Friday In Mayor Littlefield Recall Case

The latest chapter in the ongoing campaign to recall Mayor Ron Littlefield from office will take place in a courtroom Friday morning. Circuit Court Judge Jeff Hollingsworth will hold a hearing at 9 a.m. to rule on whether recall leader Jim Folkner should be made a party to the case.

Hollingsworth was assigned the case after fellow judge Jackie Bolton recused herself.

He also will rule on whether a hearing scheduled for next Tuesday morning will be heard by a chancellor instead of by his own court.

Folkner’s attorney, Joe Manuel, requested the change of court venue.
