Discussion about the latest news about a possible breakthrough in the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, how the U.S. has blocked a major report in the United Nations accusing the Israeli military of human rights abuses, and how the the Obama Administration has condemned Israel’s plans to build 1,600 new dwellings in contested East Jerusalem. Also discussion about the recent elections in Iraq and how the coalition government will have to structure itself to both remain in power and lessen outside influences, especially from Iran.
