“The best kind of relationships begin unexpectedly. When you get the astonished feeling and everything happens so suddenly. That’s why you don’t look for love. It comes to you just at the right time; the time you never thought it would have.” — Author Unknown
I get asked a lot about how to find love, or companionship, or a good, best friend to just start hanging out with, to see how it goes. And I do believe that we can’t isolate at home, wallowing and suffering our lonely plight, if what we really desire is connection, friendship, and perhaps romance. We have to do our part. We have to show up.
But what I like about the above quote is that our energies are misdirected if we spend all our time looking outward, searching. Rather than looking for the “right” person, I suggest your efforts are better spent on yourself, working to become the right person…the best, happiest person you can be, right now, in this moment. And that’s when you become so much more attractive to others.
