BALLET TENNESSEE’S presents ‘The NUTCRACKER’

Ballet Tennessee’s ‘The Nutcracker’ will take place at the Hayes Concert Hall in the UTC Fine Arts Center on December 14 and 15 at 7:00 PM, and December 15 and 16 at 2:00 PM. Guest artists Sean Hilton, Atlanta, GA. and Fredrick Davis of Dance Theatre of Harlem will supplement the cast of Ballet Tennessee’s professional wing Preston Cook, Hannah Locke, and Joe Lynch. The VanCura Ballet Conservatory professional training program dancers, junior and open division students, and community performers will step on stage with joy, vitality, and in beautifully choreographed roles.

The production will be one of the highlights of Ballet Tennessee’s 26th Season. ‘Very talented and accomplished dancers are an outgrowth of Ballet Tennessee and VanCura Ballet Conservatory,’ says Artistic Director Anna Baker VanCura, ‘including our guest artist Fredrick Davis.’ The ballerina roles will be performed by Hannah Locke, Alondra Gomez, Sarah Long, and Candace Ricketts.
