Community Egg Hunt, Music, Worship Service, Baptisms and Picnic at Coolidge Park – March 31
On Sunday, March 31, Stuart Heights Baptist Church will hold the 5th Annual Easter at Coolidge Community Egg Hunt and Worship Service at Coolidge Park from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Admission and parking are free and open to the public.
At 9 a.m. on Easter morning, children up to age 11 will participate in an egg hunt of over 100,000 Easter eggs in Coolidge Park. After the egg hunt, families are encouraged to stay for an open air worship service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., including contemporary worship music and a message by Senior Pastor Gary Jared. Guests and members are encouraged to bring a picnic and stick around after the service for a chance to spend quality time with friends and family.
Before, during and after the egg hunt, face painters and story tellers will be set up to provide entertainment and share the gospel message with children. Free coffee and Julie Darling Donuts will be available at the welcome pavilion, and greeters will be stationed around the park to provide information and help guests who are new to Easter at Coolidge.
Once again, Stuart Heights’ photographers will be offering a free family photo, printed on site, to the first 500 families who stop by the photo booth for a family portrait. We will have a portable baptistery and will again be doing baptisms after the service.
