The National Train Show

This summer, Atlanta will host the 23rd Annual National Train Show® - the industry’s most respected model train show and trade exposition, from July 19-21 at the Cobb Galleria Centre. The National Train Show is owned, produced and sponsored by the National Model Railroad Association®, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and education about the model railroading hobby. Events will take place on Friday, July 19 from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at the door, during the event. Ticket Prices: Adults: $12; Seniors (65+): $11; Children (6-12): $6. Children under 6 years, and Military, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts in uniform, will be admitted free of charge.

The 23rd National Train Show® will cover 144,000 sq. ft. of space and showcase over 40,000 sq ft of modular layouts from across the country. Special event highlights will include all of the latest and greatest model trains, accessories, collectibles and more from the world’s best-known manufacturers and retailers. In addition, the event will feature an Ask The Collectibles Appraiser, where visitors can have their own model train sets appraised.

The young and young at heart will enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including a Lego® MiniLand and children’s play area. The Incredible Lego® MiniLand features operating model railroads, hundreds of train cars, scale buildings, retractable bridges and more - made entirely of millions of Lego pieces. The 1,500 sq. ft. children’s play area will be equipped with trains, games, and more for children of all ages to enjoy during the show. The area will be chaperoned at all times, free of charge.
